Name: Dandelion Best Guess for Breed: Poodle mix Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of October 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 33 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Dandelion is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own and is eager to once again have her own humans. Sniffy walks, all the adventures her family can dream up, and cuddles at the end of fun days together - yes, please! At about five years of age, she's in her prime as an adult dog - well out of the puppy yips, but has all that awesome energy for world exploration. And - that coat. It's high maintenance. She wants daily brushing and regular professional grooming, please. Mats hurt! In exchange, she promises love and loyalty for all her days. What do you say? Is she the one you see by your side?
