Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier. Meet Squeak, a 1 year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile! This grey-and-white beauty was found as a stray and came to us a bit underweight, but she’s making great progress and happily filling out thanks to her healthy appetite and zest for life. Squeak is full of joy and excitement, especially when meeting new people — her whole body practically wiggles with happiness! She walks nicely on a leash, with more wiggles, and loves getting out to explore, though she’ll benefit from continued guidance on her manners and basic commands. With her affectionate nature and cheerful personality, Squeak is ready to find a forever home where she’ll be loved, guided, and celebrated for the wonderful companion she’s becoming. They are adaptable and can thrive in various living situations, including apartments, as long as they receive adequate daily exercise and mental stimulation. Health-wise, they are generally robust, but some individuals may be prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as certain heart conditions.
