Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Meet Bella! This sweet little nugget charms the pants off of everyone she meets. Bella is a 12 pound, approximately 2.5 year old Chihuahua mix that is kennel and house trained. She loves all laps, and everyone she meets. She is great with dogs once she knows they won’t hurt her. Her foster family has two human kiddos that are 8 & 12, and Bella absolutely loves them. She was the star at a recent lacrosse tournament, and she rocked all of the attention from the 9 year old boys. Bella sleeps through the night in her kennel, and her foster family hasn’t heard her bark yet. She walks well on a leash, but her activity level is low so she doesn’t need to go far. Bella comes when you call her name, and she knows the cue word “sit.” She will occasionally get a spurt of energy, and play with her toys or the resident dog. Mostly she curls up in your lap, and you’ll not want to get up! Her foster family says that Bella is the easiest foster dog they’ve ever had. Bella is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
