Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Surprisingly small for a full-grown dog, Tinsley is petite and oh so sweet! Just arrived, Tinsley was rescued from an overburdened shelter in South Carolina, and she has been nothing but loving, engaging, and gentle since she arrived. So beautiful, our volunteers cannot take their eyes off of her. Tinsley is only 39 lbs, and boasts a beautiful strawberry red and brown coat. At just ten months, she is still a puppy and we hope her more playful side comes out as she warms to her new environment. Her foster says, "She is very curious. Super snuggly, a little velcro (to be expected), and she likes to be next to me and snuggle when I’m down low. She is a wonderful walker and doesn’t pull at all. She’s curious about other dogs but doesn’t bark or tug when we pass on the leash. She likes her crate and rests in there on her own. She takes treats gently and is just starting to learn commands (sit, stay, down)." We know that Tinsley is good with other dogs and seeks out human affection. We will continue to update her profile as we learn more about her. PAW adopts dogs in the MD, VA, DC and northern PA region.
