Scout is a gentle soul who enjoys receiving lots of pets & good girl vibes, has great potty manners, and is fully crate trained. She gets along wonderfully with her foster family's pets and brings a calm, loving vibe wherever she goes. ‍♀️ Leash walks? Well… she’s still figuring that part out. But hey, every queen deserves a little royal treatment while she learns! Health Update: Scout has received a full medical check-up. She occasionally drags her back leg, but the vet doesn’t believe there’s any underlying medical reason—just a bit of quirky charm! If you’re ready for snuggles, smiles, and a loyal companion, Scout might just be your perfect match. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
