Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed (medium coat). Magnolia here is quite the sweetheart, and quite the cutie!! She is around a year old, and a perfect medium size! She was found in a park, after most likely being thrown from a car. Luckily she didn’t end up with any broken bones, and after some kennel rest and meds she has made a full recovery. This girl LOVES to go out on walks, and toys are just her favorite thing after people. She is dog friendly and just so full of life. We don’t know much at all about Magnolia’s history, but we know she is so deserving of a fresh start! She needs an active and loving home, that is willing to put in some time to teach this sweet girl some manners. As she is a puppy that hasn’t had any direction before, and just needs a patient teacher. Magnolia is a gorgeous, loving, young dog who has nothing but good days ahead!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
