Dog Breed: Corgi / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300.00. Rusty is an outgoing, playful pup! Coming in around 17 pounds at 14 weeks he will likely be a larger dog when full grown. We don’t know his breed - just that he’s cute! Rusty gets along with a large and small dogs in his foster home. He loves any toy that squeaks or that you can play tug with. He also loves Nyla bones – the bigger or the better! Rusty is working on crate and potty training. Like a typical puppy, he would benefit from ongoing training. Rusty's adoption fee is $300.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, neuter, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
