Lucky is an almost 1-year-old, 40-pound Lab mix who was rescued from a nearby city shelter—just two days before she was scheduled to be euthanized. She’s now spayed, fully vaccinated (including lepto and bordetella), and on a comprehensive heartworm prevention plan. Lucky is as sweet and gentle as they come. She’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when she can see you nearby—whether she’s curled up on her bed or following you up and down the stairs. She’s low-energy indoors and content to lounge around, but she also loves walks, car rides, and spending time with her people. This smart girl has completed basic obedience training (sit, stay, come, place, down, and heel), and her follow-up lessons will transfer to her new owner! Lucky is house-trained and easygoing, but she does struggle with some separation anxiety. She would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time or where she has another friendly pet to keep her company. Her foster is a single working mom whose job has transitioned back to the office, making it hard to give Lucky the time and companionship she deserves.
