Surrendered by his owner on October 17, 2025, Gordo is a gentle senior who needs a little time to warm up but quickly shows his affectionate side once he feels safe. He’s easy to leash, enjoys gentle attention from handlers, and has a calm, steady energy that makes him a wonderful companion. In the shelter, Gordo has shown some nervousness around other dogs and prefers calm company. He’s best suited for a quiet home without large dogs — perhaps with an older adopter looking for a loyal friend.
