Description
Dog Breed: Boxer (medium coat). Meet Enzo a 3 year old Box. This handsome boy is a total sweetheart once he warms up to you. Enzo can be shy at first, but give him a little time and youâll see his playful, loving side shine. Heâs housebroken, great on a leash and in the car, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Enzo knows his basic commands (sit, stay, come, paw), but he only likes to show them off when heâs feeling comfortable. Heâs quiet, smart, and just as happy lounging on the couch as he is sprinting down the beach. If youâve got a gentle heart and a little patience, Enzo will be your loyal adventure buddy for life! To meet Enzo, please contact our foster coordinator at vbasfosterinfogmail.

Boxer
A.K.A.: Deutscher Boxer, German Boxer, Dutch Boxer, Boxer dog, Boxy, Boxerman
Overview:
The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired dog breed of German origin, known for its distinctive appearance and vibrant personality. Physically, Boxers possess a strong, athletic build with a characteristic square head, an undershot jaw, and often a docked tail and cropped ears (though these practices are becoming less common). Their short, glossy coat typically comes in fawn or brindle, often with white markings. Temperamentally, Boxers are renowned for being incredibly loyal, intelligent, and energetic, making them fantastic companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and can be playful and patient with children, making them excellent family pets. While their energy levels require regular exercise, their adaptability means they can adjust to apartment living if their activity needs are consistently met. However, potential owners should be aware of certain health considerations, including a predisposition to some cancers, heart conditions like cardiomyopathy, and hip dysplasia, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups.
