My name is Rosie, and I came all the way from South Korea in hopes of finding my forever family. I am a 4-year-old Bichon Frise girl, weighing about 10 lbs — tiny, soft, and ready for a fresh start. (My age and weight are estimated.) I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m looking forward to a new chapter filled with love, safety, and gentle care. I’ve traveled such a long way to get here — now all I need is a family who will treasure me. Adoption Details My adoption fee of $1,795 is a non-refundable donation that helps save the lives of other dogs in need. It covers my spay, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, and transport costs all the way from South Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own when adopting or purchase one from us. Please note: We do not guarantee breed or age, as both are best estimates. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and every adoption helps save another life. Thank you for choosing rescue.

Overview:
The Bichon Frise is a charming and vivacious small dog breed, often described as a "little white puffball." Originating in the Mediterranean, they were historically popular among European nobility. Physically, Bichons are characterized by their soft, curly, double coat of pure white fur, dark, expressive eyes, and a plumed tail carried over their back. Their temperament is generally affectionate, playful, and cheerful, making them excellent companions. They are known for being very sociable and thrive on human interaction, often getting along well with children and other pets, making them a superb choice for families and first-time dog owners. Due to their relatively small size and moderate exercise needs, they are also highly adaptable to apartment living, provided they receive regular walks and playtime. While generally robust, Bichons can be prone to certain health issues, including dental disease, patellar luxation, and allergies, highlighting the importance of responsible breeding and veterinary care.
