Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 625.00. Say hello to Rodeo: DOB 7/26/25— an irresistibly sweet and curious pup with a heart full of love and adventure! Rodeo has the perfect mix of playfulness and snuggly charm. He’s always ready to explore new sights and sounds, but when the excitement settles, he’s happiest curled up close for cuddles. Rodeo is doing wonderfully with crate training — he sleeps quietly through the night and treats his crate like his cozy den. This smart boy is curious about everything and loves learning new things, especially when treats and praise are involved. His gentle personality and big expressive eyes make him an instant favorite wherever he goes. He enjoys toys, belly rubs, and being part of the action. He’s social, loving, and adaptable — the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s as cuddly as he is curious, Rodeo is ready to trot right into your heart and home! Adopt through East Coast Canine Rescue eastcoastcaninerescue

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
