Mona is a confident, playful puppy with a bright personality and a big heart. She’s a social girl who loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs. With her outgoing nature and affectionate spirit, Mona brings joy and energy wherever she goes. Mona is crate trained and currently working on her housebreaking and leash skills—she’s a quick learner and eager to please. Like any young puppy, she has plenty of energy and enjoys playtime, walks, and quality time with her humans. She’s great with other dogs and enjoys friendly play, often leading the interactions. Mona has been around children and does well with them, though she’s still learning not to be nippy during play. She would thrive in an active home that can continue her training and provide structure, exercise, and love. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and confident puppy who loves people and other dogs, Mona could be the perfect addition to your family! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
