Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed. Meet Renesme — the sweetest little “low rider” this side of the dog park! At just 1 year old and 28lbs, this Border Collie beauty is what we like to call fun-sized perfection — short, fluffy, and full of heart! With her stumpy little legs (shorter than a Pup-Peroni bag, seriously!), charming smile, and gentle nature, Renesme turns heads and melts hearts wherever she goes. She arrived as an unclaimed stray, with no collar, no tags, and no microchip — just a sweet soul trying to make it on her own. But those days are behind her now, and she’s ready for the forever home she’s always deserved. Renesme is super sweet, gentle, dainty, and a good girl who already knows how to sit. She’s submissive with other dogs and would absolutely love to have a dog friend to keep her company. This little “short stack” sweetheart may be low to the ground, but her heart is sky-high. She’s the perfect medium size, the perfect mix of mellow and playful, and the perfect reminder that love doesn’t come in one shape or height. Renesme deserves to love and be loved, to trade cold streets for warm laps, and to finally have a place to call home. Renesme was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
