Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Nugget is an adorable 4-year-old, 27 lb terrier mix with a heart as sweet as his name. This little guy is full of love and personality! He’s great with other dogs and absolutely adores kids. Nugget can be a bit shy with men at first, but once he realizes you’re a friend, he’ll be your loyal snuggle buddy. He loves giving kisses and curling up next to his people. Nugget is a smart boy who already knows sit, paw, and down—and he comes when called! He’s quiet, clean, and well-behaved in his crate, though he prefers to eat outside of it and isn’t super food-motivated. He’s more of a grazer, which makes his potty schedule a little unpredictable. He’s had a couple of accidents, but he’s improving every day. He does best with a fenced yard, since that’s where he’s most comfortable doing his business and running off his energy. Nugget isn’t a fan of walking on a leash just yet—he can be strong and a bit reactive—but he’s shown improvement, and with patience and training, he’ll get there. Nugget loves meeting people (even if he barks a little first to say hello!) and would make a wonderful addition to a loving family who can give him time, consistency, and space to play.
