Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Meet Lucien (Peanut), a sweet, senior gentleman ready to find his forever home. Peanut is, quite simply, a huge (tiny) ball of love. While he may be "on the older side," don't let that fool you—he's got plenty of spark left. Peanut is the perfect blend of couch potato and a playful boy. When he's not snuggled right up next to his person soaking up all the affection, he loves a good romp. He's fantastic with other dogs and still enjoys running and playing with his canine friends. He is potty-trained and knows exactly what it means to be a great housemate. He just wants to be wherever you are, happy to be the loyal shadow you always wanted. He is a little on the heavy side, but we are committed to getting him healthy, and we need your help! He is currently on a diet plan to help him shed those extra pounds and extend his happy years. We are looking for an adopter who is ready to commit to continuing this plan consistently. This commitment is the greatest gift you can give Peanut for a long, vibrant life.
