Dog Breed: Cairn Terrier / Terrier / Mixed. Nugget is a charming Cairn terrier mix who recently found a new beginning thanks to a timely act of compassion. His previous owners were unable to care for him due to time constraints, and he was being offered for free. Fortunately, Nugget’s story took a positive turn when we were able to step in and help him find a loving home. Nugget is about 10 months old, weighs approximately 20 pounds and embodies the sweetness and affection typical of his breed. He is incredibly loving, friendly, and makes an excellent companion. Nugget’s sociable nature allows him to get along well with both cats and dogs, making him an ideal addition to any family. Nugget is currently up to date on all his vaccinations and has been neutered. His journey to a better life is supported by Pet ResQ Inc., and he is now ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and care. Nugget is truly a wonderful dog who deserves a forever home. He is affectionate and eager to please, already responding well to basic commands such as sitting and giving his paw. While Nugget can be a bit mouthy—a common trait in puppies—he quickly redirects his attention to a toy when prompted. He is still learning appropriate behavior and would thrive in a home committed to continuing his positive reinforcement training.
