Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever. Adoption Fee: 300. STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. These babies will be ready to go to their forever families around Christmas time — talk about the best gift ever! ❤️ (No worries, they stay with mama until fully weaned and old enough, and no early placements.) Adoption Process & Timeline ✅ Apply now to get pre-approved ✅ Puppies will stay with mama until they are ready for homes around Christmas ✅ At 5–6 weeks, we will reach out to approved applicants ✅ Meet-and-greets + puppy matching will begin then ✅ Adoption Fee: $300 What’s Included Each puppy comes with: ✔️ Up-to-date vetting ✔️ Microchip ✔️ Leash & collar ✔️ Treats & toys ✔️ Starter food ✔️ Lots of love and early socialization Requirements To be considered, fill out an application ASAP — these sweet babies will not last long! All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!

While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial.
