Barbie is a 5-month-old Chiweenie weighing in at a petite 7 pounds of pure cuteness! She’s a perfect mix of sweet and ornery—full of puppy charm, playfulness, and personality. Barbie loves everyone she meets and does great with people and other dogs alike. Like any young pup, she’s still working on her housetraining skills, but she’s a smart girl who’s eager to please and quick to learn with consistency and patience. If you’re looking for a tiny companion who will keep you smiling and laughing every day, Barbie’s your girl! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $200. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
