To ensure Timmy #5 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. Timmy #5 | 11-week-old Dachshund | Tiny Pup Full of Love and Play Meet Timmy, an 11-week-old Dachshund with striking white and black markings and a heart full of curiosity and affection. At just 4.4 pounds, this little guy is full of energy and loves to explore, play, and snuggle with his humans. Timmy is learning house training, using pee pads while in his playpen during the day, and he’s already showing a preference for going outside—though puppy play sometimes gets the best of him! Timmy thrives with his foster brother and enjoys the company of larger dogs, engaging in playful romps and cuddles. He’s food motivated, quick to learn commands like “come” and “no,” and responds well to redirection, especially with play biting. After a good play session, he’s content to nap or curl up under the covers, showing off his calm and easygoing side. This sweet pup enjoys toys, chewing bones, and even car rides, and he’s happiest in a home where he has a canine companion and safe, supervised space to run and explore. Timmy also loves snuggling on laps and at your feet in bed, making him an ideal companion for someone who works from home or an older adopter seeking a loving sidekick. Born in a shelter in Oklahoma, Timmy is ready to find his forever family. With patience, love, and a bit of structure, this playful, affectionate, and easygoing little pup is sure to bring endless joy to his new home. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
