Dog Breed: Bluetick Coonhound (short coat). Meet Coppe! Age: est 4 months. Breed: mom is a bluetick hound, dad is unknown. Size: approx 20lbs, we believe he will be about 65-70ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained, working on leash and house training. He is just a pup so he will need continued guidance. He knows sit and he is very food motivated and eager to please. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: a little shy at first, but that doesn't last long! He warms up to be friendly, affectionate, and playful. He will bark or howl when he has an opinion. He would do best with another canine companion to play with or an active family. Reason for rescue: Copper was born to a stray mom. The pups had to be humanely trapped to be caught. They didn't recieve socialization before coming to us, but they have come so far! Copper's personality has really blossomed. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current vaccinations and preventatives.
