Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Hi there! Iâm a very good dog (at least thatâs what my humans always say). I live for playtime!! seriously, toss me a ball or squeaky toy and Iâm in heaven! Iâve always wanted a whole basket full of toys and I'd make it my mission to play with every single one every day. The more noise they make, the better! When Iâm not running around or showing off my zoomies, I love just being near my people. Whether weâre cuddling on the couch, sitting outside in the sunshine, or just hanging out while they do their people stuff, Iâm happiest when weâre together. Iâm a professional snuggler. Oh, and snacks? Donât even get me started. Crunchy, chewy, soft, or smelly... Iâll take âem all. Treats are my love language. After a good day of playing and snacking, I like to stretch out somewhere cozy, let out a big sigh, and just relax. Lifeâs pretty great when youâve got toys, treats, and the best humans in the world.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
