Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 600. Meet Evea, the delightfully clumsy and irresistibly lovable Staffy/Lab mix who’s always ready for fun—especially if there’s water involved! Born in Texas to a stray, feral mom, Eva grew up alongside her siblings Dory and Elio, and she’s the goofy, splash-happy member of the bunch. She’s got all the spunk and personality of her sister Dory, but with a more endearingly awkward twist—think enthusiastic zoomies followed by an adorable tumble or two. Evea loves to play, explore, and especially jump into any puddle, bowl, or splash pad she can find. Despite her silly streak, Eva has a heart of gold and adores being around people and other dogs. She’s curious, affectionate, and always up for an adventure, though she’s just as happy to curl up for a nap after all the excitement. This little ray of sunshine is ready to find a forever family who will laugh with her, love her, and maybe keep a towel handy for all her splash sessions! Evea is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/21/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
