Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Meet Paco! Paco is an 11-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a strong preference for the simple things in life: cozy laps, soft blankets, and being close to his people. He’s used to having access to his food throughout the day and enjoys a little wet food at night as a bedtime treat. This little guy does great on walks and car rides, and while he’s not a fan of swimming or toys, he absolutely loves treats, snuggles, and being held. When you reach your hands down to pick him up, Paco will even do a little jump to help you out, it’s his way of saying, “Yes please, I’d love a cuddle!” Paco can be a bit uneasy with fast movements around his head, so a calm, gentle home (preferably without small kids) would be ideal for him. He’s good with other dogs and has lived peacefully with them, though he prefers a low-stress environment. He knows when it’s time to go outside and will remind you in his own way when nature calls. Paco does have some dental issues and will need dental work soon to keep that sweet smile healthy and pain-free.
