Dog Breed: Schnauzer / Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Meet Moses, a young and sweet pup with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Moses started out as a Texas stray, living on the streets and learning to fend for himself. When he was found, he was dirty, hungry, and covered in fleas and ticks—but now, with care and love, he’s blossoming into a happy, affectionate little dog. Moses can be shy at first, but once he warms up and leans in for a pe, his true personality starts to shine. His foster reports he has a way of looking at you that almost seems human, full of curiosity and understanding. Moses loves a good belly rub once he trusts you! Heses is looking for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, build confidence, and share all the love he has to give. Moses is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/21/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
