Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Hi there! My name’s Furee! I’m a shepherd with a big heart and maybe an even bigger personality. I like to think of myself as a working dog, but really, I just love being around people. If you scratch behind my ears or tell me I’m a good boy, I’ll melt right there on the spot. I can’t help it... I love attention! Most days, I follow my favorite humans around like a shadow, tail wagging, always ready to help or just flop down nearby. I get a little wiggly when someone gives me treats. I’ll admit it I act like a big puppy sometimes. It’s hard not to when life’s this good and there’s someone kind nearby to notice me. Now, I won’t lie.... it takes me a bit of time to warm up to new people. I like to watch first, make sure they’re gentle and patient. But once I know you’re safe, you’ll have a friend for life. I’ll nuzzle your hand, bring you my favorite toy, and stick by your side through anything. I may be a shepherd by breed, but my heart’s pure companion. Attention, treats, and being close to my people... that’s all I need.
