Description
Dog Breed: Corgi / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat). Emmi is a Cowboy Corgi at 2 years old. Cowboy Corgi is a cross between the Australian Cattle Dog and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. As a result of these two wonderful breeds being crossed, we now have a small but highly energetic dog that can be the perfect work companion or simply a home pet. Emmi needs a active family and she can be a little nippy with strangers so recommend no kids Under 12 years old. Emmi does best to have a person who is alpha over her so she knows her boundaries. She is very willful and can be bossy with other dogs if they are dominant. If you think you are the right home and would like to meet her please contact 816.898.5646. Barkindogs1aol Adoption $200 of the includes spay, all VAX, current heartworm, and Fecal negative and micro chipped

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
