Dog Breed: Shepherd / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or Forever home wanted, meet Skye! Skye came to us a as puppy of a litter of five with her mom Feather and was quickly adopted to a loving family. Unfortunately health issues now prevent that family from keeping Skye and she is back with us looking for a new family. Skye is a 7 month old shepherd husky mix but don't let that scare you off. Skye is very calm for a husky mix. She enjoys daily walks and games of fetch but doesn't have the boundless energy huskies are known for. She settles well in the house, is house broken, crate trained, rides well in the car and really just wants to hang out and be with her humans. Skye currently lives with a small dog and cat and gets regular visits from grandchildren and gets along well with all of them. She is dog, cat, people and kid friendly. She is the total package for a puppy but of course is still a puppy so her new family will need to do the usual puppy proofing to insure Skye's puppy curiosity doesn't get the best of her.
