Dog Breed: Pug / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Chato is looking for a foster (or foster-to-adopt) home ❤️ Chato is a 1-year old male put mix -- one of the many sweet dogs in East San Jose spending most of his days in the yard. His family needs to rehome him as the husband suffered a serious head injury and is preparing for surgery, and the wife is juggling a lot - including caring for their 2-year-old (whom chato absolutely adores). Chato is currently in a temporary foster home while we search for his foster or forever digs! He’s about a year old and finally getting the chance to experience what being a puppy is all about. He’s full of joy—loves to play, go for walks, chase balls, and soak up all the attention he missed out on during his first year living outdoors. He’s house-trained and is now crate-trained too. Chato enjoys playing with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as the only pup in an active home where he gets plenty of love and exercise.
