Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Rosie is looking for a home that will keep her active and engaged — one where she can go on walks, runs, or outdoor adventures and then come home to snuggle with her people. Rosie has spent a lot of time in a crate and now it is time for her to stretch those BIG legs! Rosie is wonderful with children and would love to have kids in her life to play with and love on. She gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t necessarily need a companion — she’s just as happy soaking up all the attention herself. She does love to play with them however and would love the dog park or doggy day care! What is my personality like? Meet Rosie Ann — large and in charge, but with a heart as gentle as they come. This beautiful big Doodle has it all - charm, smarts, and a whole lot of love to give. Rosie believes that every day is meant for fun, friendship, and affection — and she’s always ready to share that with her favorite people. Rosie is a big girl, and that means big love! When she leans in for pets, she puts her whole heart (and body!) into it — pressing all her weight against you just to be a little bit closer. She thrives on attention, affection, and being part of whatever’s going on. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or heading out for an adventure, Rosie is happiest when she’s right by your side. This smart girl has lived in a home before, and we know she’ll slip right back into family life with ease. She’s quick to learn and eager to please, making her a dream companion for someone who enjoys an intelligent, affectionate dog. Sweet, kind, and full of life, Rosie Ann is ready to bring her joy and warmth to a family of her own. With her big heart and even bigger personality, she’s the kind of dog who will make every day brighter. How do I act when I first meet new people? Rosie Ann is a happy girl who greets new faces enthusiastically. Other tips and tidbits: Rosie Ann's birthday is 03/20/2024 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Saint Berdoodle, a charming cross between the Standard Poodle and the Saint Bernard, is a relatively new designer breed gaining popularity for its delightful blend of traits. Originating from the desire to create a large, friendly dog with a lower-shedding coat, these dogs typically inherit the Saint Bernard's impressive size and gentle nature, combined with the Poodle's intelligence and hypoallergenic qualities (though shedding can vary). Physically, they are large and robust, often sporting a wavy to curly coat in various colors, and possess a warm, expressive face. Temperamentally, Saint Berdoodles are known for being affectionate, loyal, and good-natured, making them excellent family pets that thrive on companionship. While their large size means they are not ideal for small apartments, they can adapt to various living situations if provided with adequate exercise and space. Potential owners should be aware of common health concerns found in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, bloat, and certain eye conditions, necessitating regular vet check-ups.
