To ensure Bingo #4 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. Bingo #4 | Chi Mix | Sweet Lap Warmer Meet Bingo, a gentle 14-pound Chihuahua mix with a tan coat and a heart full of love. Bingo was found abandoned in a field in Kansas and has since found safety and comfort in foster care. He’s a calm, easy-going little guy who adores cuddling and resting his head on his people, making him the perfect lap companion. Bingo is still learning the basics, but he’s made great progress overcoming initial shyness and now responds positively to structure and boundaries. He’s about 75% house-trained and is currently using pee pads while his foster works long hours. He hasn’t started leash training yet, but with a little patience, he’ll get there. Bingo does well being left home alone, especially when another easy-going dog is present, though he may whine or bark for the first day or two as he adjusts to a new environment. Bingo gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is friendly with cats and usually just ignores them. He hasn’t met children yet, but his sweet and submissive nature suggests he will adapt well in a calm household. He’s motivated by love and treats and has yet to explore toys, preferring to snuggle and soak up attention. Bingo’s ideal home is a patient, loving environment where he can continue to build trust. A second easy-going dog would be a great companion, especially if his people are away for long hours. Despite his shy beginnings, Bingo has proven to be a warm, affectionate, and loyal little friend who is ready to bring comfort and companionship to his forever family. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
