Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Apple! Apple and her sisters Pumpkin and Pecan were living in a scrap yard with an only apple crate for cover from the elements. They are just babies and we are so glad to have them out of the cold and into warm and loving foster homes. Apple is most likely a Chihuahua mixed with terrier. She is lean with long legs and currently weighs around 6 lbs. She will likely grow to around 14-15 lbs as an adult. Apple is a sweet and friendly girl. She is only 4 months so is still learning about the world. She LOVES to snuggle and be held - she is sassy and so cute! She is still being potty trained but is a great sleeper and actually loves her crate. A little patience will be needed to get her on the right potty schedule - the rain in Seattle does not help :) A home with easy access to the outside will make potty training much easier. Apple's best friend in her foster home is a 150 lbs mastiff and she would love a dog friend in her forever home too. Apple will be vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed at our cost around 8-12 months of age (it is better for their hormonal development to be spayed at that time). Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
