Description
Dog Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier (medium coat). Hey, Iâm Zara. Iâm just a big softie who loves good vibes and good company. Iâm all about keeping things chill... no need to rush when you can stretch out, enjoy the breeze, and soak up some pets. Attention? Oh yeah, Iâm a fan. If youâre sitting down, Iâm probably leaning on you already. Iâve got this whole âbig lapdogâ thing down to an art. Head scratches, chest rubs, ear pats; Iâll take âem all, thanks. Treats are my weakness. I can hear a snack bag open from across the house, and suddenly Iâm right there, sitting nice and polite (most of the time). Cookies, biscuits, peanut butter.. lifeâs better with a full belly. Walks are my other favorite thing. I love the rhythm of the leash, the smells, the fresh air. Every walkâs a new adventure. I donât need to go fast; I just like being out there, side by side with my person. At the end of the day, Iâm happiest when things are easy: a comfy spot, a few good treats, some scratches, and the people I love close by. Thatâs my kind of perfect.

Breed overview
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
A.K.A.: Stafford, Staffy, English Staffy, Staffie, Nanny Dog
Overview:
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, affectionately known as a "Staffy," is a robust and agile breed originating from 19th-century England, bred for its strength and courage. Physically, they are compact and muscular, with a broad head, pronounced cheek muscles, and a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors. Despite their powerful appearance, Staffies are renowned for their affectionate and gentle nature, particularly towards children, earning them the nickname "nanny dog." They are intelligent, highly trainable, and thrive on human companionship, making them excellent family pets. Their relatively small size and moderate exercise needs mean they can adapt well to apartment living, provided they receive daily walks and mental stimulation. Generally a healthy breed, they can be prone to certain conditions like L-2-Hydroxyglutaric Aciduria (L2HGA), hereditary cataracts, and patellar luxation, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. With proper socialization and training, a Staffy will be a loyal, devoted, and entertaining companion.
