Dog Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Chico is a 1 1/2 year old "Chiweenie" which is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix boy who is ready to find a family who can give him the love and guidance he deserves. There's a big heart tucked into his tiny frame. Chico is a bit unsure when meeting new people but once he has a little time to feel comfortable, he shows off his sweet and affectionate personality. He is still working on his housebreaking skills so he'll need someone willing to help him continue learning. If you enjoy earning the trust of a small, loyal companion, then Chico might be the perfect match for you. Chico is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
