Beautiful Biscuit Super and Smart, Biscuit has temporarily joined our pack! We are hoping to find the right “forever” home for him soon! Biscuit is extremely smart treat and praise motivated for training. He knows some basic commands and is very good with fetch and retrieve with a tennis ball. Biscuit is great around other dogs; he’ll be happy to play if there’s a playmate, but also just to be a companion if that’s who’s available. Biscuit was owner surrendered because his human did not have enough time for him anymore that’s why we wanna make sure to find somebody who’s committed for the rest of Biscuit’s life. Biscuit is either a large mini or a small standard Australian Shepherd ; his weight is between 38 to 40lbs and he’s definitely full grown. Biscuit would be a great walking companion, wing-man, Bestie and all-around great companion for the right person, couple or family. He would love another dog to play with, too. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD. General Info - PLEASE READ!
