LOTTE - DACHSHUND / MIXED (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). IN SEARCH OF A VERY SPECIAL FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME. This beautiful little girl was a fighter from the start. Lotte’s mom is Zaza, there were 6 babies in the litter. Five of them were perfect little puppies and Lotte was just a little differently perfect. She was born with a cleft lip and some infected eyes that were a problem before they even opened. She needed to be bottle fed as a baby and then she stayed in a special foster home as she got bigger and stronger. Lotte is now 3 months old and weighs 4.5 pounds. She is ready for a foster to adopt home. She gets around well once she gets the lay of the land and her cleft does not bother her at all, it just adds character. She is playful and loving and just a normal little puppy. She would love to have a playmate and someone to snuggle with and give kisses to. She has seen an opthomologist and there is nothing to be done for her eyes. Lotte isn’t big enough to be spayed, so she can’t be fully adopted yet. Foster to adopt means that DRSF will manage and cover all vet bills until the time that she is spayed and then the family will adopt her. Foster to adopt families must live in Palm Beach, Broward or Miami Dade county to be sure she stays near her veterinarians.
