Dog Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed. Meet Steve Nine pounds of pure happiness. Steve is about two and a half years old and came to us as a shelter stray, but you’d never know it from the way he lights up around people and other dogs. He’s a cheerful, easygoing little guy who trots around like life is finally going his way. We’re still getting to know him, but what’s already clear is that he loves his dog friends and slots right into a pack without any fuss. He’s playful, social, and has that sweet, grateful energy that makes you root for him immediately. As we learn more about his quirks and routines, we’ll update his bio, but one thing’s certain already: Steve is a happy little companion who’s ready for someone to give him the good life he should’ve had all along. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)
