Description
Dog Breed: Retriever / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Scarlet is a 6-month-old female Retriever/Hound mix who has already been spayed. She is an owner surrender because she was not good with the chickens and ducks at her house. Scarlet has a brownish red coat with just a bit of white markings. She weighs 35 pounds; and is considered to be a medium sized dog. Scarlet is playful--that is probably what got her in trouble with the chickens and ducks. She is friendly, affectionate, and would be just fine in a home with children and other dogs--just NO chickens and ducks. Scarlet is the total package of a dog--she is sweet, smart, pretty, and a great size to fit in just about anywhere! Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
