Dog Breed: Hound / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Mixed. Meet Frankie, a wonderful social ambassador of the canine world. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a friendly approach. Frankie is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix at around 6 months old and weighing around 32 pounds. He is a young lad now, but he is sure to grow bigger as he gets older. Our best guess for Frankie, is that he will be a medium sized dog of up to 60 pounds when he is fully grown. Sadly, his story begins with the hardship of being left behind where he was abandoned in his home waiting for someone to rescue him. His wishes were granted, and he has left his past behind him as he is ready to embark on new adventures that are on the horizon for him. Frankie is a social boy and does well with other dogs and children. We do not know how he would be in the company of a cat since he has not been introduced to a cat since coming into rescue. We do know that Frankie is a lovable boy who enjoys playing with toys, interacting with people and other dogs and is a total joy to be around. He is currently working hard on learning his skill set of house, crate and leash training. He is putting in his best effort and will appreciate the help and support of his family to accomplish each task. Frankie is your typical puppy with his enjoyment of play, toys or just simply running around outdoors. He will benefit from daily exercise and/or walks, continued training and of course a bunch of socialization. At the end of a fun and fulfilling day, Frankie will be a great couch cuddling buddy. The perfect family for Frankie will be the one that will offer him lots of love, treats, cuddles and more. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Frankie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
