Description
Dog Breed: Doberman Pinscher / Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat). Angel is a very sweet female we think could be a Doberman/rottweiler mix born about 11/24. She’s great with other dogs and ignores cats. Angel came to her foster home very shy and shut down, but she’s happy and comfortable now. She’ll be timid at first in her new home, but will come out of her shell given time, love and patience. It’s rewarding to help rehab dogs who have not had a very nice start in life, but who end up with a great life! She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. If she’s afraid, she’ll cry but never offer to snap or bite. It will be helpful to have a fenced in yard in case it takes a bit for her to get comfortable with her new person walking on a leash. Angel is spayed, healthy house-trined and ready for a new and forever home. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY! Adoption fee $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Breed overview
Overview:
The Rotterman is a robust and intelligent hybrid, a striking blend of the powerful Rottweiler and the sleek Doberman Pinscher. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the best traits of both parents, these dogs typically inherit a strong, muscular build with a dense, short coat, often in black and tan markings. They are known for their alert and confident temperament, making them excellent guard dogs and loyal companions. With proper socialization and consistent training, Rottermans can be wonderful family pets, though their energy levels and need for mental stimulation make them less suitable for small apartments. Potential owners should be aware of a predisposition to health issues common to both parent breeds, including hip and elbow dysplasia, certain heart conditions, and bloat. An experienced owner who can provide ample exercise and training will find a devoted and capable partner in the Rotterman.
