Description
Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / American Bulldog / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 250. Hi I’m Artemis! I’m a very loving pup with a gentle nature. My favorite thing is to be rubbed under the chin. I will lean all the way into you and then crawl in your lap. My foster mom says I might get too big to be a lap dog, but I think that’s just silly. I’m the bravest of the sisters, we must have had a scary start before we got to our foster momma so I can still be a little jumpy. But I’m getting braver all the time and if you continue to show me love and safety, I’ll blossom into the bestest pup! If you’d like to get to know me, submit an application at savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups/info/adoption

More About Catahoula Bulldog BreedOverview:
The Catahoula Bulldog is a hybrid breed developed by crossing the American Bulldog with the Catahoula Leopard Dog, combining strength, loyalty, and striking appearance. Originating in the southern United States, this breed is known for its muscular build, short coat, and distinctive merle or spotted patterns inherited from its Catahoula parent. With a temperament that blends protective instincts and affectionate companionship, the Catahoula Bulldog is both a devoted family dog and a reliable working partner. They thrive in homes with space to exercise and may be less suited for apartment living unless given consistent activity and mental stimulation. Generally good with children and other pets when properly socialized, they require firm but positive training to manage their strong-willed nature. Health considerations include joint issues and skin sensitivities, making regular veterinary care important. Overall, the Catahoula Bulldog is a loyal, energetic, and eye-catching companion.
