Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Gale! She just turned 8 weeks old (12/1/25). She is a pittie mix. Mom is about 50lbs and dad is unknown. Gale is a fun and spunky baby girl who is good with other dogs. She is working on housebreaking and crate training. She is a very food motivated quick learner. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
