Meet Bella – 2-Year-Old Redbone Coonhound (47 lbs) Beautiful, energetic, and full of personality—Bella is a 2-year-old Redbone Coonhound who’s ready to find her forever home! True to her hound roots, Bella loves to follow her nose on every adventure. She’d thrive in a home with plenty of space to run, explore, and play. Bella is great with people and kids, always eager to make new friends and be part of the action. She’s an affectionate companion who will keep you smiling with her goofy charm and enthusiastic spirit. Like many hounds, she can be a bit barky, but that’s just her way of talking to the world! If you’re looking for an active, loyal dog who loves the outdoors and will keep life exciting, Bella could be the perfect match. Give Bella the room to run and the love she deserves — she’ll reward you with endless affection and adventure! ❤️ You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $200. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 1Dx Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at .saspca. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Please apply online at texasgreatdane/adoption-application/ ** - IMPORTANT INFORMATION - SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar. We also host additional adoption events throughout the year. The Redbone Coonhound is a striking American breed, instantly recognizable by its beautiful, glossy red coat. Originating in the Southeastern United States in the late 18th century, they were developed for their exceptional scenting abilities and distinctive "bawling" bark, ideal for trailing and treeing raccoons and other small game. Physically, they are medium-sized, muscular hounds with long, pendulous ears and soulful brown eyes, exuding an air of quiet determination. Temperamentally, Redbones are known for being amiable, outgoing, and eager to please, making them wonderful companions. They are generally good with children and other dogs when properly socialized, though their strong prey drive means careful introductions to smaller pets are necessary.
