Because of his sensitive nature, Lemon would thrive best in a calm, adults-only home. He needs humans who understand that he should never be scooped up or petted without his consent. Sudden movements, loud noises, or fast-paced environments can be stressful for him, so a steady, predictable home is essential for Lemon to feel confident and secure. Lemon finds comfort in the company of other dogs, especially calm, confident companions. Their presence helps him navigate the world and feel braver than he might on his own. For this reason, Lemon needs another well-adjusted dog in the home. How do I act when I first meet new people? Lemon isn’t the type to jump into new situations right away. Instead, he takes his time to observe, adjust, and decide when he’s ready to engage. Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
