Description
Dog Breed: Poodle (Standard) / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 650. Hi there! I’m Kuromi — a tiny pup with a huge heart and an even bigger love for playtime. I’m looking for a forever family, and I think you might be the one! I am a Doodle girl born around 9/26 and weigh around 8 lbs⨠A little about me: I love to play ALL the time — squeaky toys, tug toys, you name it! I’m also very brave… I’m not even scared of the vacuum (I know, impressive). When I’m not playing, I’m usually eating or snoozing. It’s a pretty great routine. My Favorite Things: Giving kisses and snuggling close Following my human everywhere they go (yes, everywhere) Welcoming you back when you return from the bathroom — I miss you, okay? Why you’ll love me: I’m sweet, loyal, cuddly, and ready to be your best friend. I may be small now, but I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of tiny paw steps. If you’re looking for a playful shadow who loves with her whole heart, I can’t wait to meet you! The adoption fee of $650 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding. Breed overview
Overview:
The Labradoodle is a charming and increasingly popular hybrid breed, originating in Australia in the late 1980s with the goal of creating a guide dog for a visually impaired individual allergic to dog hair. This delightful canine combines the best traits of its parent breeds: the intelligent Poodle (Standard) and the friendly Labrador Retriever. Physically, Labradoodles boast a range of sizes and coat types, from wavy fleece to curly wool, often shed-reduced, making them a potential option for individuals with mild allergies. Their coats come in various colors, including cream, chocolate, and black. Temperamentally, they are known for being sociable, intelligent, and trainable, making them excellent family pets. They thrive on human companionship and require moderate exercise to stay happy and healthy. While adaptable, their energy levels mean they generally prefer homes with yards over small apartments, though daily walks are essential. Common health considerations, inherited from their parent breeds, can include hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain cancers, so choosing a reputable breeder is crucial for a healthy companion.
