All I want for Christmas is a Daisy Doodle! This beautiful girl is eager to meet her family. Daisy Doodle is a gentle dog, goofy, even tempered dog that loves to play. She is good with all adults and older children, and actually interacts with children over 7 daily and lights up when she hears them. With cohabiting dogs, Daisy Doodle is tolerant and accepting, playful, respects corrections, submissive at first then adjusts. When meeting new dogs she is interested, submissive, calm and wiggles. Just adorable. Daisy Doodle is house training is in progress and in the early stages, she is quiet and clean in her crate for up to 8 hours. Daisy Doodle is working on her leash skills as well. Daisy Doodles is the perfect house guest with our Southern partner, and is living with adults, children, other dogs and cats. Daisy Doodle's story: She was abandoned with other dogs. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
