Breed: German Shepherd Dog Estimated DOB: 02/01/2025 Sex: Male (neutered) Weight: 60-65 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Atlas: Rescued from Mississippi after being hit by a car and suffering a broken pelvis - his owners left him in their yard for 2-3 weeks before he received help Has some sensitivity on his hind legs from his injury and does a bunny hop when getting on/off furniture and stairs Prefers a dog bed on the floor for lounging and benefits from support and encouragement when going up/down stairs Breed experience required to adopt Atlas So incredibly friendly and bonds immediately with people of all ages and sizes Happy boy who has blossomed in foster care and is learning to feel safe in a home again Very affectionate and will paw at you or whine to let you know he wants scratches and attention Loves frozen kongs with peanut butter and chewing ice cubes Walks beautifully on leash without pulling Very food motivated and a great eater Medium energy level - calm and easy going inside while enjoying multiple walks and backyard playtime throughout the day Can get a little mouthy when he's extra happy but means no harm Housebroken!
