Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Aspen is 60 pounds of muscle, charm, and confidence wrapped into one handsome cuddle muffin. Part fashion icon, part fitness guru, and full-time ladies’ man, this guy knows how to turn heads. Whether he’s showing off his latest thrift store find, visiting his favorite dog-friendly shops, or putting his impressive hops to good use, Aspen brings plenty of personality wherever he goes. When he’s not out showing off his moves, Aspen is perfectly happy settling in for some Netflix and chill, especially when belly rubs are included. His favorite pick-up line? “I’m here. What’s your second wish?” And with a face like his, it just might work. Aspen is looking for a long-term relationship with someone who appreciates his big personality and knows how to keep the good times rolling. He prefers to keep his circle small, so he’s looking for a home without other pets or young children. Mature, older kids may be a good match. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with plenty of charm, laughs, and cuddles to give, swipe right on Aspen and make it forever!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
