Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier. Hi! My name is Prada. I am a very sweet but sad girl who is super scared. You can see me shaking so bad around people. I was found confused and scared. I am timid when you touch me but I do not bite. I need all the love that I can get. Please do go slow with me. I don't mind you sitting with me and talking to me. I do fine on leash. I may do better getting away from the noise. I would do fine with other dogs with good manners in not jumping on me. I do not know about kids or cats at this time. I really want a loving home soon. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at .HelpTheAnimalsINC/adopt.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
