Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Faith! Faith’s name says it all. She was rescued alongside her mom (who has since been adopted) and her sister, Baby Girl (who is also still looking for a home), from an unhoused individual. Before rescue, Faith was hit by a car, leaving both of her front legs broken. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care, one leg healed beautifully, while the other underwent multiple surgeries to restore as much function as possible. After everything she’s been through, this one-year-old, 55 lb AmStaff mix has shown the world what true resilience looks like. Today, Faith is back on her feet and ready to find her forever home. Faith is a professional sun-worshipper who has mastered the art of the “sploot” and loves nothing more than showering her people with kisses. She’s the perfect balance of easygoing and well-mannered—crate trained, housebroken, and great on leash. While she’s still perfecting the doggy door, she’s an A+ student and eager to learn. She has an independent streak and can happily entertain herself with toys, but she’ll never pass up a cozy nap in a sunny spot or the chance to give you a few dozen kisses. Faith also loves car rides, making her an ideal companion for errands or weekend adventures. She is dog-friendly and enjoys canine companionship, but would do best in a home without small animals. To keep her out of boarding, Faith has been cared for in three different foster homes, and we’re so grateful to each of them for giving her love and stability along the way. She’s been a wonderful houseguest—but what she truly deserves now is something permanent: a forever family who will see her strength, celebrate her quirks, and love her exactly as she is.
